BIO: My stuff spans a broad range, from painting to photography to animation to pen & ink illustration to music to puppetry to cooking to graphic design. My inspirations come from everything from knitting pattern catalogues to 1920s German Expressionist films to children's work to Art Nouveau to my friends to British and Canadian children's programming to the entire pre-1986 Fisher Price toy lineup. I collect typewriters and cookbooks with horrible graphics.

BIO: The Past and Pending arose from a love of collecting vintage clothes and other vintage trinkets. Our ethos is based on the quality of vintage clothing and the ability to recycle and up-cycle, therefore perpetuating the life of clothing that can be styled into any modern day wardrobe.

BIO: a 2001 Penn State graduate, with a bachelor of fine arts
degree in sculpture and a bachelor of science degree in art education. She took
her first fused glass class at The Creative Oasis in 2003 where she fell in love
with the process and the technique. She bought her first kiln before the class
was over and now teaches the same beginning class she took over 10 years
ago.

BIO: my parents bought me a sewing machine for christmas when i was in high school. i touched it only a few times, making square pincushions... and larger square pincushions which i referred to as pillows. I hated threading the machine, so it wasn't long before i gave up.Though, i still don't derive any pleasure from threading my machine, i am very pleased to make things that my friends call "cute". Now i spend my free time making purses and recycling old thrift finds. I'm always up for trying something new; shoes, hats, upholstery. I hope to be able to make something you like, something that you'll call "cute".

BIO: Honestly, I just wanted to make weird earrings. I wanted them to be different, for the "different" kinds of earring wearers all over this diverse earth. What I came up with is a wide array of earrings for all kinds of people. My earrings feature things such as recycled ipod parts, doll baby eyes, beautiful Czech glass flowers, freshwater pearls, semi precious stones, glass beads, dyed shells, random silver plated or pewter charms, and even conversational beads that can tell people that you are "spy-ful" or a "little devil". They have been fashioned together with either silver-plated earring findings (earring hooks and head pins, or earring stud backs), 925 Silver, antique brass, copper, and recently I have started using rose gold.

Bio: We love to knit and nothing makes us happier than making knits for others. Our knits are made with a variety of natural fibers: wool, alpaca, mohair, cotton and more. Hannah loves to run with greyhounds and celebrate with a cupcake! Audrey tends to be obsessed with mid-century modern graphic design and shiny things. Our ultimate dream would be to run a yarn-cupcakes-wine boutique.

BIO: The HubCaps idea emerged from the eclectic snowboarding culture that I have longtime been a part of. Making out of the ordinary hats began as a small hobby simply for my personal use and enjoyment, but quickly took flight when friends and others took interest in them. Now with the help of my hometown senior center and a few donations from local businesses I am making and selling HubCaps where half of all profits are being donated to Penn State's THON dance marathon.

BIO: Accidental Charm is a one woman operation run by yours truly. I've had this need to be doing something with my hands for as long as I can remember, be it origami, sewing (very poorly), drawing (even worse), knitting, crocheting, jewelry-making, etc. Born in NYC and raised in Northern Jersey I am moved to State College earlier this year. Some of the finer points of living in Central PA I've learned to truly appreciate are Wegmans and free refills on soda. My interests include: vintage Pyrex, street fashion photography, Johannes Brahms, Art Deco, hot dogs.
